Greg’s early career as an actor was spent mainly within theatre in education, often involving children in workshops to be included in plays.  He went on to become a primary teacher and now combines these two areas of his skills in different roles.  As a project leader for Leicestershire County Council, Greg works in costume and in role, teaching school children at historical Leicestershire sites (for instance as a Tudor servant).  In this position, he also conducts outreach, going into both mainstream and special schools to educate children and enhance learning.

Lisa is a trained Occupational Therapist with most of her experience working with adults with learning disabilities.  This role has given Lisa great confidence in grading activities; involving individuals fully in the process of an activity; and working with a wide range of individuals with differing skill levels.  Understanding the importance of sensory exploration and its necessity for some people is a natural skill for Lisa.  As well as being a Specialist, Lisa also works as a Museum Educator at Snibston Discovery Park where she educates school children of all ages and abilities in science, history, art and fashion.

Both Lisa and Greg are trained in basic Makaton.
