The Specialists are passionate about people of all abilities being able to communicate their wants and needs. We want people to have as many opportunities as possible to express themselves. Therefore, The Specialists support the Makaton charity. We want to see more people trained in Makaton to aid people with communication limitations. We donate regularly to the Makaton Charity.

The Specialists also give an annual donation to local Mencap groups. We support the ongoing work that Mencap provide in many ways to individuals with learning disabilities.
